About Me!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. You have to know what you want to get. But when you know that, let it take you. And if it seems to take you off the track, don’t hold back because perhaps that is instinctively where you want to be.

About me@Shutterholic.in

Varun is Happily married and father to a beautiful daughter, and a marketing minded individual with a heart for travelling around India capturing every beautiful moment.

I am Varun Tyagi, an Avid Traveler, a Day – Night Dreamer. I have a high zest for driving whilst exploring new places around India & sharing back those travel experiences with the other fellow Travelers. I am in love with Spreading Smiles around India through “Shutterholic.in” & currently enjoying life as Happy Traveling Soul at Shutterholic Travel Community.

How I like to travel

I like to stay in experiential accommodations (think home-stays), travel impulsively and to places that have seldom been written about, and don’t believe in counting every penny I spend. I like to go slow, get under the skin of a place, talk to locals and experiment with the local cuisine (I’m a vegetarian by choice); I’m happy to skip most tourist attractions in a big city. I mostly travel solo or with a friend; group travel with a fixed itinerary is just not for me.

I believe that our travel choices have an impact on the places we visit. On my part, I prefer public transport, avoid buying mineral water bottles, and try to look for local experiences.

After spending my life in the corporate tunnel for 9 years, I realized I had two options. Either to fall in the corporate abyss forever, or start pursuing my passion.
You guessed it right, my passion took control of my life.
