Best Way To Discover Jaisalmer If You Are Solo Or Couple, Renting Bike!
Ever been in a jiffy while traveling. You get in two minds, weather to save money or travel luxuriously. I always travel solo and I try and save every last bit that I have. Many a times I have faced an issue when I was traveling alone and to go and visit places I had to rent a cab. Booking cab costs a ton. I am always on a lookout for bikes which I can rent. Bike renting saves a lot of money.
This blog post is about how you can save money and rent a bike in Jaisalmer when you are traveling either solo or with someone. While my stay at Hotel Roop Mahal I got to know that Chandra Singh, who owns the place knew a guy who gave bikes on rent in Jaisalmer.

Meet the desert bike tours.
Dinesh Saini runs this renting bike business and has been in the business for a decade now.
He has a fleet of 15 bikes now, which includes some on the favourite bikes such as enfield. If you need to book your rides prior to your arrival or make an enquiry, please visit his website by clicking here.
Here is what Dinesh had to say when I had a word with him about his desert bike tours.
All the travellers, staying in Hotels, Resorts & guest houses, here we brings one and only budgetary & Adventure transport for Biking and Self Designed tours in Jaisalmer.
Desert bike tours gives you an option of renting bike, per hour, per day and per week. I would advise you to rent the bike for a day or 2 maximum. Two days are enough to cover entire Jaisalmer. Tanot and sam dunes are in opposite directions and from Jaisalmer tanot is at a distance of 120 kms and sam dunes around 40 Kms to be precise.
Rent bike for two days and that way you can cover each attraction which the city has to offer. Dinesh would charge around 1000 RS a day in peak season, but it depends on your interpersonal skills as I got it in 400 RS/day. Fuel cost would have to be beard by you. They would normally give you a little fuel till the gas station. I would recommend that you tell them to have the fuel tank fueled up to it’s max and then what ever fuel you burn you can. In the end when you give the bike back, fuel it up to it’s fullest capacity.
Now being an enfield fan, I would recommend it, however you can choose your bikes as per your convenience. For females there are a number of automatic bikes without gear. However when going to the interior desert, I would recommend a powerfull bike.
We have all type of Motorbikes in our fleet such as:- Hero Honda, Honda Impulse, Bajaj Discover, Bajaj Pulsar, Royal Enfield & Non Geared bikes like Honda Activa, TVS Scooty, Pleasure, Bicycles.
